Ghosting a Funeral is a genre-defying instrumental debut album from Nick Roesler, featuring Dave King on drums.

Born out of the existential question, “am I a musician?” Nick Roesler (RACE-ler) looked inward and while studying composition with Dave King (The Bad Plus) created a collection of tracks that he loves, with influences from ambient, rock, jazz, electronic, and cinematic styles.

While baritone guitar and keyboard were Nick’s main writing tools, along the way he built out and stylized the tracks and arrangements by pulling from a sonic palate of diverse and unexpected sounds ranging from haunting piano and echoing guitars to vintage synth, strings and various samples. Dave’s iconic drum performances add an unmistakable depth and interest. Ghosting a Funeral will take you on a journey and provides unique soundtrack for fans of many musical tastes and backgrounds.
